          Hitendra Ghosh is an Indian sound designer who works predominately in the Hindi film industry. He is best known for his works in movies such as Swades, Jungle, and Rang De Basanti.

          Hitendra Ghosh is a two-time winner of a national award for Best Audiography for the films Ek Pal (1985) and Game (2011) and won the National award for Best Sound Recording for the movie Junoon in 1978.

          Hitendra Ghosh was born in Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh.

          6. His parents were art teachers at The Scindia School, so he completed his schooling in the same institution. Hitendra's father passed away when he was seven years old. His mother, the sole breadwinner of the family, took care of Hitendra throughout his childhood.

          When Hitendra was seventeen, she passed away.

          He enrolled in an engineering college and joined a part-time work to compensate for his education. Hitendra worked as an ADC for three years and completed his degree. Hitendra moved to Delhi and joined in Central Public Works
